After breakfast the guide will meet you at your accommodation or at the MARRAKECH AIRPORT holding a sign with your name. We leave the red city of Marrakech to climb the high atlas mountains ( Tizi n'Tichka ) pass at 2260 m. In your road you will see the small fortified villages built into the sides of mountains taking you from a modern world, back in time. Melted snow in the winter season , from mountain tops flows down the mountainside to make amazing waterfalls. Our surroundings are stunning with the colors of conifers, The almond trees and palms. We will stop for some tea made with mint and relax our legs. before our stop at the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou for lunch. This village was added to the World Heritage List of UNESCO, it is entirely made of mud, straw bale and adobe. It is also a very popular location for Hollywood producers for its photogenic and ancient setting. Many international films such as ‘Babel’, ‘Gladiator’ Lawrence of Arabia’; and many, more different films were filmed here. Then we will continue our tour to pass off the thousand Kasbahs, then to Dades valley, where we will take our typical Moroccan dinner and overnight stay in a charming Riad/hotel.
After early breakfast you will drive up the Dades valley, then to reach the Todra gorges to discover it and Having stretched your legs by walking through The water that comes out of the source (river) After having lunch we will move to Merzouga via Rissani and Erfoud. We arrived at a suitable time for a camel ride around the sand dunes to reach the foot of Erg Chebbi, to benefit from an overnight stay in our very equipped luxury / Standard camp. We will have a authentique Moroccan dinner and be entertained by a barber, the sahara local music around a campfire, Spend your evening sky stars gazing. If you wake up early enough, you can watch the amazingness of the sunrise, when the color of the dunes and the moving of shadows are a breathtaking sight. The drive back west to the Draa Valley takes us along the length of the Saghro mountains range, it is one of The region known for its low seasonal rains. We pass the villages of Alnif (featured in the film ‘Babel’) and N’Qob, where we have lunch overlooking the mountains. After lunch we drive to Tansikht village on the banks of the Dra’a River. The Dra’a valley is full of ancient kasbahs and large palm trees, typical of the landscape in this part of Moroccan southeast. We continue the track of the ancient caravans route which worked its way north from the Sahara to Agdez with its precious cargoes from Tombouctou in Mali The drive back west to the Dra’a Valley takes us along the length of the Saghro mountains range, it is one of The region known for its low seasonal rains country... Then we cross the Ait sawn pass, 1650m, to reach Ouarzazate city. We end this unforgettable 3-day Marrakech desert trip by continuing along the main road over the High Atlas mountain again.
