2 Days Tour From Zagora To Erg Chigaga Desert Itinerary:
Our driver will pick you up by 4x4 car at 10:30 from Zagora and drive to Erg Lihoudi through Draa Valley Oasis, Tizi Anagame and Ben Selman mountains (Nicknamed the tagine plate cover).
We will continue off-road through Oued Naam, go in a forest of acacia and tamarix tree on the sides of dry rivers and sand dunes for 2 hours. We will stop at the natural Oasis to have a lunch meal.
In the afternoon we will arrive at Erg Chigaga where there is a camp to spend the night. After you are installed inside your tents, you will benefit from the available activities, including a camel tour, enjoy skiing on the sand dunes, climb the largest sand dunes with a height of more than 200 meters, then take an independent best time to meditate, enjoy the sunset, and a panoramique view on a sand sea.
Afterwards we will arrive at our desert camp for a special evening. We will have tradisional dinner and a bonfire with drummers and Arab/Berber music.
Everyone will enjoy watching the stars before going to sleep.
On the following day we will wake up early to enjoy the magical sunrise from the top of the dunes.
After a continental breakfast in the camp, we will leave Chigaga desert in the direction of Zagora. On the way back, we will stop to visit the Green pottery cooperative, kasbah underground and Koranic library in Tamegroute, and then we will drop off in Zagora.
The 2-day excursion from Zagora to Erg Chigaga ends at noon.
